MTCI’s core focus of our Dental Assisting course is not only on procedures, but also on patient care, often preparing patients for examinations and procedures or working alongside the dentist when treating patients
 
Students will learn everything you need to know in our 12-week course to start a successful career in dental assisting.

Metropolitan offers students an intensive Phlebotomy certification program. This program provides students the theory and clinical skills necessary to perform venipuncture and various blood tests for entry level positions in hospitals, physician offices, and laboratories.

 

AT MTCI, you will Develop patient care and administrative skills needed in a physician’s office or ambulatory care clinic. Once you finish the coursework, you will have the option of taking a statewide exam to become certified. Graduates of our program are eligible to sit for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification exam provided by the American Associate of Medical Assistants (AAMA).

MTCI’s Nail Technician program will provide the knowledge and practical skills in basic manicures, pedicures, nail tips and the artistic side of nails. With this course of study, you will qualify for a license with the Florida Board of Cosmetology.

MTCI offers a full Massage Therapy program. This program includes theoretical and hands on training to prepare students for a massage career. Students will learn basic relaxation and therapeutic massage as well as being introduced to other
modalities of bodywork.

MTCI will provide students with the skills and knowledge in bookkeeping and entry level accounting.  Core courses will included areas of tax preparation, financial accounting, auditing and corporate accounting. Upon completion a graduate will be able to complete a variety of supervisory tasks in the areas of managerial finance and corporate accounting.

MTCI offers a Pharmacy Technician program that will prepare students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination and upon successful passing of examination students can register with the Florida Department of Health.

MTCI Institute provides instruction for the Veterinary Assistant program in a professional environment from highly qualified instructors. Visual demonstration and practical skills are learned in both the classroom and in local veterinary clinics.

 

Metropolitan Technical Career Institute offers an Esthetician/Facial-Skin Care Specialist course. The Program Objective is to focus on transferable skills to successfully obtain a license with the Florida Board of Cosmetology.
